Mavi stopped by with Awalim

From Pera member Andye AndinhaNiakan:

As volunteers and hobbits of the studio we were all glad she was coming. It's one of the rare moments we get to really step into the world of American Tribal Style Bellydance seen from an International perspective. The workshop and programme were advertised all over the city and everyone was glad Awalim chose Pera to hold the workshop. I think it's the second time they've had an event at this location The first being a Harvest Hafla featuring their friends, members of various bellydance communities and friends.

This weekend Awalim hosted Mavi (who is often seen at TribalCon) in a workshop and as a headliner at their Tribal Carnival Show held at The Redlight Cafe. Workshop included two extensive classes, Dum-Tek-A-Dubstep and Dark Sword. Again, its really awesome to see the tribal fusion genre and ATS in the studios of Pera. The atmosphere is completely global and all incompassing so kudos to both for bringing that kind of material to Atlanta.

Looking forward to more cool things from all parts of the community. Join Pera Dance, Awalim and Mavi online and on Facebook.
