Join us every Thursday and Saturday to get a great bellydance workout and lesson from our very own Turkish native Aya of Istanbul. Aya has had the blessing of growing up multi-cultural with time in both Turkiye (Turkey) and the United States. Fluent in Turkish and English she relays to students the extra special information and song translations so that everyone covets from the culture.

Each Thursday the class will go over basic moves as well as advanced bellydance techniques to push each person to the next level in their dance education. It's more than just a little shimmy here and there it's a full on double impact bellydance class that you won't forget.

Back by popular demand is our Turkish Romany Raqs Hour. Saturdays are dedicated to Turkish Romany rhythms and technique. Everyone gets a chance to dance and feel the difference between the bellydance you might see everyday and that which is straight from the culture. It's a marvelous time to get moving. FAQs:
Do I have to go to the class every week?
A. No. The classcard will not expire. If you miss a class during the 8 weeks you can pick up anytime. Each class goes over a different technique and you will not fall behind.

Can I buy the card in person:
 A. Yes. Feel free to ask for the Bellydance Special at the registration desk located at the front of the store

What if I already have a class card? Do I need to buy a new one for this class:
A.No, you can use any current class cards toward your attendance of this class.

What do I wear?
A. comfortable clothing in which you can move around

Can my friend come and watch me take the class?
A. Everyone that enters the studio must have a class card. There is no spectator section of the class.

I have a child. Can they come?
A. Currently Pera Dance does not provide childcare. Please arrange for your little ones to have supervision at all times.

We love to host our local international community functions all year long. If you need a great space to entertain your friends, social group and family gatherings we're more than happy to host you at Pera Dance.

Rental space fees vary depending on the date and the time. They start at $35 an hour for Monday-Friday before 2pm. And $40 on weekends. Inquire in person or over the phone. And don't forget to come by the studio for a tour!

Cross Cultural Dance Joins Pera Dance Studio Atlanta 22 August!

Cross Cultural Dance Company is now at Pera Dance Studio!

Classes designed to engage students in dance movement through world dance.

These classes will concentrate on theatrical stage craft for solo/group choreography and improvisational solo's in World Dance.  Exercises will be borrowed from different world movement traditions in performance arts, theater and dance, designed to engage a student to dance with presence and meaning.  Learn stage presence, music interpretation, emoting, using space, dynamics and texture to help breathe life into a dance 'character' within the 'story' of the music.

Our awesome schedule and class line up is one of the best!  One cultural dance class after the other plus all your favourites like Hoopdance and Zumba!
